Unlocking DigiCel Panasonic Phone

I have a Panasonic GD68 phone which is vendor locked. I have migrated and need it to use the instrument on Verizon's network. Can you tell me how to make the change so the phone is no longer locked to DigiCel's network only.

You'd have to look for a local unlocking service, also to my knowledge..Verizon is CDMA not GSM. Your major choices are T-Mobile and Cingular..there are smaller ones though.

and correct me if I'm wrong.. but as soon as u sign up with another GSM network all you should have to do is get another SIM... instead of trying to unlock the old one.... ???

No Godkid, if your phone is from another provider..and it is locked..you will not be able to just slip another SIM into it..you'll need to have the phone unlocked first.

Remember Verizion is GSM1900 and Digicel is GSM900.
Is it a Tri-Band handset?
