From PocketNow.com (http://pocketnow.com/android/samsung-galaxy-z-revealed-to-be-an-s2-lite)

a Swedish cellular provider has outed the Samsung Galaxy Z, which looks to be a slightly-reduced-spec GS2.

For instance, instead of the 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos, the Z would use a 1GHz dual-core, and possibly go with NVIDIA this time around. The display would shrink slightly to 4.2 inches, while keeping the same resolution but going with a less expensive Super Clear LCD screen instead. Another area taking a hit is the rear camera, going down to five megapixels from eight. Also, look for half as much storage on-board

he hates nvidia so dont expect an unbiased opinion - i however have had a tegra 2 phone so i can give u opinion of experience..

tegra2 is a very good and powerfull chipset based on the cortex A9 CPU... based on benchmarks, tegra2 outperforms the snapdragon processor.. the ULP GPU utilizes power exceptionally well while rendering games with exteremely stunning detail.. when i had the G2x, it was exceptionally quick and had a gorgeous display

HOWEVER

if u ask ME what my problem is with the tegra2 - its just hilarious that the tegra2 "was made for gaming" as quoted by nvidia yet adreno has far more supported games.. additionally, with the upcoming partnership between qualcomm and many game producers such as gameloft, glu, EA Games, comUS and others, snapdragon will recieve a wicked gamepack of 150 optimized games while tegra will have bout 10.. so IMO, it makes no sence to make a chipset made for games then have very little games made to support it.

Knowing nvidia they take alot of shortcuts to get stuff done. tegra 2 is just a geforce 6 series gpu. Nothing ground breaking.

Why didn't you mention that tegra 2 does not have unified shaders?

EDIT: I am not going to buy a modern device with that old crap that still use pipelines for graphics.

well yeah, no unified shaders means unoptimized games arent rendered as well as they could be but all in all its still pretty good - i dont expect the same gaming quality of a phone as i would a PC

Oh? Lol I thought you wanted the best quality. Nice switching. My point is no old tech in my new phone.
