C&W executives are delighted with the early response to its new bmobile 'Talk & Save' value serve plan which was launched today.  The company has received thousands of calls and visits through its stores and its Customer Care Centre enquiring about the new packages, and many have already taken advantage of them.

According to Patrick Gillings, SVP Marketing and Communications at Cable & Wireless: "while we are pleased at the reaction to our new mobile campaign, we are even more pleased that we have been able to offer our customers significantly greater value for dollars spent, while at the same time giving them more choices and increased flexibility".

Free nights and weekends calling; call rates as low as $1.95 per minute to call bmobile and C&W landline customers; call rates as low as $10.00 per minute to call other networks; and free text messages are just some of the features of bmobile's new 'Talk and Save' value service plans.

Effective today (March 14) bmobile customers can 'Talk and Save' through any of the following five new postpaid plans - Talk & Save Everyday, Talk & Save Weekends, Talk & Save Nights and Weekends, Talk & Save Whenever and Talk & Save Whenever Plus.

On selected postpaid plans customers will enjoy free calls at nights and on weekends, one rate for daytime and night-time calling (no peak or off-peak differentiation), up to 1400 free bundled minutes, one low rate of $2 per minute for calls to both bmobile and C&W landline numbers; bundled text packages, and much more.

And the value continues for prepaid.

Bmobile will also offer three new value-filled prepaid plans - Talk & Save Everyday, Talk & Save Nights and Weekends, and bFree Plus.

On selected prepaid plans customers can take advantage of call rates to other networks reduced by as much as 40% - from $17 to $10 per minute; plus one low rate of $1.95 per minute for calls to both bmobile and C&W landline numbers; 150 free text messages per month; and other great savings.

Commenting on bmobile's new service plans, C&WJ's Senior Vice President Mobile, Ian Neita, says: "Customers stand to reap significant benefits from the innovative prepaid and postpaid service packages that bmobile has launched.  From new low rates, to free call minutes, to simple pricing - the packages", he says, "have all been developed in direct response to customer feedback and are in keeping with our commitment to being the mobile provider that delivers the greatest value to customers in Jamaica".
