Mobile telecoms company Digicel opened its flagship Digicel World super store at a gala affair in Kingston on Wednesday night. The first of its kind in the Caribbean, Digicel World allows customers to experience first-hand all the functions, fun and benefits of owning a mobile phone.
Located in Tropical Plaza in Kingston, the flagship Digicel World store represents mobile technology of the future. Digicel plans to make these exciting super stores available to customers throughout its existing seven markets, including Aruba, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Jamaica, St Lucia and St Vincent & the Grenadines.
Speaking at the official opening of the Digicel World store, Mr. David Hall, CEO for Digicel Jamaica, said, "We are absolutely delighted to launch our first ever Digicel World store in Jamaica. Once again, Digicel is the first to offer such an innovative customer experience to wireless users in Jamaica. Digicel World exemplifies our forward-looking approach to business and allows customers to experience all that mobile phones can offer in a fun and interactive way. The store is an all new retail experience for lovers of the latest games, gadgets and mobile devices everything is live and waiting to be tried out by visitors to the store."
The Digicel World store features mobile products from top international manufacturers including Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung. The new design concept creates an environment that is exciting and extremely customer-friendly.

The Digicel World super store features in-store kiosks, allowing customers to experience Digicel's world-class customer care while efficiently maintaining their Digicel accounts. The Digicel World store concept was designed by the world-renowned Pavlik Design and implemented by The Finishers, a local contractor based in Jamaica.
