New computer virus hits Jamaica |

The Jamaica Computer Society, JCS, has confirmed that a new computer virus has spread to Jamaica.
Committee member of the JCS Krishna Phillips told RJR News Monday afternoon that there have been several reports that the virus has been affecting computer systems locally.
Mr. Phillips is urging persons to take precautionary measures to prevent the virus from spreading.
In the meantime, RJR News has been informed that the some of the computer systems at the UWI campus have been affected by the virus.
