Cellular service provider Digicel, on Saturday sought to dispel rumours of glitches in its pre-paid cellular service.
RJR news received reports that there was a racket involving the Digicel flex cards, as persons who purchased cards of a certain denomination received more credit than that stated on the card.
However when RJR news contacted Digicel's Commercial Director Harry Smith, Saturday afternoon, he said the company was aware of the occurrence and that it was not a glitch.
He says the free credit received is part of a Loyalty Campaign launched by the company Friday night, as a gift to its one million customers.
Mr Smith added that due to the fact that many persons were making increased calls in a bid to use up the extra credit, some customers may experience difficulty making and receiving calls.
