More than 100 delegates have so far registered to take part in the Regional Data Security Summit to be held in Kingston next Wednesday.
The summit, titled "Securing Enterprise Data in the Cyber World," will seek to deal with the issue of data security in order to establish a sound base for the development of e-commerce in the region.
The region's three main suppliers of computer security products: Fujitsu, IBM World Trade Corporation and Microsoft are scheduled to make presentations at the Summit.
The Government's Central Information Technology Office, CITO, will be responsible for hosting the event.
