Interactive Voice Solutions, a company that designs corporate marketing tools, will tomorrow begin a series of road shows to introduce to the market its 'message on hold' promotional tool.
The seminar, to be held at the Hibiscus Lodge in Ocho Rios beginning at 10:30 am, will be followed by others in Montego Bay, Mandeville and Negril between April and June, the company says.
The 'message on hold' is a new generation telecommunication promotional tool, which the promoters say is designed for easy brand awareness and to cross-sell products and services.
Managing director, David Riley, says the Ocho Rios seminar is the first to be held outside Kingston.
Interactive Voice Solutions is a new company located in the Technology Innovation Centre at the University of Technology (UTech) in Kingston.
"The system offers small businesses an opportunity to 'sound' like a large corporation," says Riley. "That helps to build customer confidence and image and could influence their decision to do business with you."
Riley added that 'message on-hold' was critical for controlling "what promotions your customers listen to while on hold. If they had to listen to a radio station they're likely to hear a commercial for your competitor. We know it's effective because many of our clients link it directly to increased sales".
