Western Business Expo 2003 is a being hosted by Cable & Wireless Jamaica in collaboration with its business partner, Nortel Networks. As with last year, the event will showcase cutting edge telecommunications technology (Business Solutions) to the business community in Western Jamaica, from leading industry suppliers, including: Avotus (MDR); Clear Channel; Computer Environmental Solution; and Computer Satellite Electronics.

Among the highlights will be displays on: High Speed Internet access (Cyber Café); VOIP Telephony; Small Business Solutions; Wireless LAN; Mobility Solution; Networking Solutions; GSM/GPRS Mobile Solutions – Handsets and services for corporate users; Enterprise Solutions; and Vehicle Tracking by Clear Channel.

This year there will also be a series of FREE seminars, conducted by communication experts from Cable & Wireless and Nortel Networks, on topics ranging from Voice and Data Convergence to tips on telephone etiquette.  Nortel Networks will also conduct workshops on Call Centre Solutions; Wireless LAN and VOIP Solutions; and Conectivity VPN & Call Pilot.

A free shuttle service will be provided between the C&W Business Office at Church Street, Montego Bay, and the Half Moon Shopping Village for the convenience of customers who wish to visit the expo.  The Shuttle service will be available on the hour, every hour from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

In addition to showcasing the latest in information technology, telecommunications hardware and software applications, Cable & Wireless will offer visitors to the event, significant discounts on select C&W packages and business services products.
