Cable & Wireless Jamaica has postponed introduction of phase two of its Toll Limit Monitoring programme. This decision has been taken by the company to allow it to incorporate into the programme constructive feedback from its customers – the majority of whom have reacted positively to the initiative.
The toll limit monitoring facility is an extension of the company’s existing Interactive Billing Information System (IBIS), which reminds mobile and fixed line customers of billing due dates. The Toll limit monitoring aspect is intended to heighten customer credit awareness and to further assist fixed line customers to better manage and control their expenditure on telephone usage.
The first phase of the programme which was launched in October, was intended to give fixed line customers the opportunity to agree an upper monthly limit with the company. Under the second phase, which was to commence during December, customers would have been automatically alerted when their call charges reached 75% of their agreed toll limit.
The information provided by those customers who have already called in to set their desired toll limits, has been captured on our database and will be activated when the programme is reintroduced.
Customers who have not yet responded, are urged to call the company’s Customer Contact Centre, charge-free at 1-888-225 CALL CWJ, to agree a toll limit. |
