Over the past month, Digicel Jamaica has been engaging Facebook fans through constant interactions and exciting giveaways, resulting in a record growth of over 18,000 fans to date on the company’s Fan Page. Fans have been treated to giveaways such as BlackBerry 8900, Samsung i900, Nokia E63 and BlackBerry 8520, plus one-year pre-paid BlackBerry service for each BlackBerry winner and thousands of dollars in credit giveaways. Digicel also treated its Facebook fans with giveaways of 100 tickets to 50 fans to attend the recently held Shaggy & Friends Concert.

Digicel’s Head of Marketing, Donavan White, comments that the company is pleased with the rate of growth they have seen so far on its fan page. “Our fan base is now at a little over 18,000 fans and we expect to see more growth as we continue to engage our fans and treat them to exciting giveaways.
