St Ann seniors graduate from computer course |

Twenty-three senior citizens and volunteers graduated last Thursday, after completing an eight-month computer course at the Brown's Town Seventh-day Adventist Church in St Ann, marking the sixth successive year for the programme that is sponsored jointly by the St Ann Parish Library, St Ann Senior Citizens' Association and Sandals Dunn's River Resort.
Among the graduates was 87-year-old Whelel Morris, who successfully completed the course and was a picture of pride as she strode up in her graduation gown to collect her certificate. Guest speaker, Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security Andrew Gallimore lauded the graduates and organisers for coming forward to discover the challenges of the technological age, and demonstrating that they are never too old to learn...
