NCB debuts Online Recruitment System PDF Print E-mail

"Part of our strategy to become more efficient, achieve world-class standards and to provide greater value for our shareholders is to harness the power of the Internet," stated Rickert Allen, General Manager of the Training & Human Resource Division of National Commercial Bank (NCB).  NCB will launch its Online Recruitment System this month, which will give those looking for a career at NCB an opportunity to search for jobs and apply for them online at their convenience.

The new system represents a transformation of the recruitment process from manual to electronic and offers advantages for both NCB and job applicants.  Job seekers can visit www.jncb.com and click on the 'Careers' link located in the 'Quick Links' box on the landing page.  There they will be able to apply for advertised positions and/or submit generic applications.  Applicants can also save and modify their personal information.  Once the application process is complete, a reference number which will help to monitor the progress of the application will be assigned.

This system was implemented in an effort to reduce advertising costs, reduce processing time for applications, enhance storage and retrieval of applicant data, create a more efficient recruitment process and facilitate ease of access to information for reporting and planning.

The system underwent a soft launch in April 2007 and performed superbly.  "NCB's Training and Human Resources Division will continue to strive to use innovation to drive the delivery of service and to enhance NCB's competitiveness.  We want to attract the best and the brightest and we believe the online recruitment system will help us do so," exuded Mr. Allen.
