The Supreme Court has granted an order which bars telecommunications company FLOW from digging up roads in the Corporate Area.
The order, which was issued on Thursday based on an application from the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation (KSAC), will remain in effect until September 18.
It was obtained in response to complaints that trenches dug by FLOW were inconveniencing pedestrians and motorists.
Mayor of Kingston, Desmond McKenzie, told RJR News that FLOW will have to meet with the KSAC before it can resume its cable laying activities. article link |
