Business Events JA also lists membership meetings for all the trade organizations, and offers a directory of related resources.  The major trade organizations post their information directly to the site.

The name change is meant to reflect more accurately what the site does.  Business Events JA will retain the original tag line: Where Jamaican Business Meets.  Users who type in the URL for CrossRoads will be re-directed to the new domain, www.BusinessEventsJA.com.jm.

The site was re-designed seven months ago, but there had not been a firm decision on the name change at that time.  A new look and feel was introduced, the navigation was made easier and viewing events by week and month was streamlined.  Panmedia also advertised the site in the print media on several occasions that brought an increase in the number of visitors.

The original name was chosen to reflect a meeting point in corporate Jamaica since Cross Roads was the traditional separation between downtown and uptown.
