There has been a whopping increase in computer sales since the removal of the General Consumption Tax (GCT) on sales.
According to information from the Planning Institute of Jamaica, sales of computer and computer accessories grew by 61 per cent during the April to June quarter.
The Planning Institute has linked the increase to the May 1, 2005 removal of GCT on computers. article link |
