Cable & Wireless yesterday launched the electronic mailing of summary bills to customers.
The electronic delivery of summary bills via the Internet will give customers more time - up to three weeks - to peruse and pay their bills. The ebill not only presents a summary of charges but also provides a link to CWOnline, where customers registered for this service will be able to view details and pay their bills online.
The ebills are available for the range of services provided by Jamaica's only full service telecommunications company.
Thousands of Cable & Wireless customers are now able to benefit from this service and the company expects that more will take advantage of the service, especially in light of the company's aggressive expansion of broadband Internet access.
'Customers will be very excited by this new service as we continue to use technology to deliver more convenient solutions for them. The ebill service will mean faster delivery of bills, giving customers more time to review details and pay from the convenience of home or office', says Roger Richards, C&WJ's Senior Vice President for Internet, Voice and Data Services.
'We are committed to maintaining our leadership of the Jamaican telecommunications arena by listening to our customers and exceeding their expectations', Richards added.
The ebill summary also includes a real time link to CWOnline sign-up which customers will need in order to take advantage of the full range of features of the ebilling service. Registration for CWOnline allows customers to view the details of their bill as well as to pay online using Lovebird Keycard, MasterCard and Visa credit cards.
Cable & Wireless is the first utility provider in Jamaica to offer this service. |
