Having to make daily visits to schools, Honey Bun saw the shortcomings of technological equipment that could enhance the quality of teaching and learning for both teachers and children in primary schools.  Therefore, in October 2005, the Honey Bun School Dayz Giveawayz Competition was introduced as a means to help schools with the provision of computers.

The company designed a programme to help schools help themselves.  Sixty-two schools signed up and 51 schools stood the course and their students worked tirelessly to compete for the top prize of a computer lab.

An awards presentation was hosted at the Tree House, Hope Zoo, last month and the winning schools - Angels Primary and Windward Road Primary and Junior High schools - were on hand to receive gift certificate for a computer lab and a 29" colour television set, respectively.

DEDICATED TO QUALITY

"Our company is dedicated to quality in every product and service we provide to our customers.  As corporate leaders, we are also dedicated to encourage the development of our children, especially through the utilisation of technology, and we will continue to do our part to facilitate resources to enhance excellence in our young citizens, as they forge ahead to be marketable future employees of our nation," said Michelle Chong, CEO of Honey Bun.
