A worldwide seminar tour geared at exposing corporate clients to Microsoft's newly integrated suite of business software products and technology services will arrive in Jamaica this month. In all main areas of operations, Jamaican companies will be able to operate more efficiently and productively with the launch of Microsoft Corporation's regrouped line of solutions. This according to Joseph McKinson, Microsoft's Jamaican country manager and territory manager for the Western Caribbean.
SET TO BE LAUNCHED Microsoft Dynamics, the realigned and re-branded suite of software solutions, is set to be launched at the seminar to be held at the Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston on January 17. The Microsoft Dynamics Tour will feature presentations from Microsoft's top executives, as well as business strategists and technology experts. Mr. McKinson said, "Doing business in Jamaica will be easier. A whole new world of possibilities will be available through our technologies." Areas to be covered include financial management, customer relationship management, and the management of supply chain. Bill Gates' multi-national Microsoft Corporation has operated a Jamaica office from New Kingston since 1999, which forms part of a broader group of Caribbean outposts under the banner, Microsoft West Indies. Jamaica-based Joseph McKinson holds corporate accounts responsibility for Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas and the U.S. Virgin Islands - a position he has held since July, 2004. http://www.jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20060117/business/business4.html |
